So villain is one of the more aggro regs I've seen so far at 200nl zoom when it comes to 3betting. He is 24/21, 3bets 12% overall, 14% from co and 3bets over 9% vs opens from any position, even utg. He rarely flats, overall cal open is 7%. This is over 1k hands. I feel like 4bet/calling is too spewy since I havent seen him 5bet yet. Dont think 4bet/folding is an option either as we are wasting a good hand imo, would much rather do that with something like KTs. So I think flatting is our only option even though it's obv not going to be super easy to play.
I dont think flop and turn should be played otherwise without reads which I dont have, anyone disagree?
As for river. I guess I should fold since I have what I look like I have and he might not expect me to fold any Ax here. I can also have AQ at least, but no flushes imo.
Fold, or call because top-of-range-kinda-spot-I-guess?

As you have seen AJo plays very poorly vs even somewhat wide 3 bet ranges OOP. We re here in a spot where we should be rarely contemplating a fold OTR but its probably the best play. Mr Hudson did a video about playing vs 3 bets OOP. Basically you gotta put this hand into your 4 bet bluff range or fold it. Cutting your range into strong hands that 4 bet for value and then having a range consisting of hands like this is a real recipe for disaster.

I like a call-down. He could very easily barrel the turn with somekind of gutty and decide to ship it in on this river. It looks like you can have a q. Your A-blocker cuts down on his value range a bit.

And I agree with a 4bet pre. I think AJ plays well to call vs some people but 14%ish 3bet range isn't quite wide enough without strong postflop reasons to flat IMO

I think I probably end up calling vs this type of villain, but of course not feeling great about it.

4b/fold pre is ok too I think, since this strikes me as the type of villain how will call a lot of 4bets IP.

How do you not have post flop reads after 1k hands?

The only reason to call here that I can think of is that we are pretty much at the top of our range here and we don't really know much about villain's barreling tendencies. All we know is that he can have a wide range pre and is very aggro. He can probably play every weak Ax that he bluffed with pre like this so I think it's probably a call.
