16NL zoom - what's different ?

Hey guys,

I was looking for some information about the 16NL zoom player pool and can't find anything relevant and up to date.

Finally I am rolled for 16NL after 6 months struggle at NL5 (thanks to you guys!), and it seems really weird that the player pool is so small.

Do you have any recent experience with the pool and can tell me why is that so? Does it have something to do with rake ? Or the stakes are just not so popular within recreational players ? I don't even see hand reviews from 16NL on the forum.

Thanks !

I actually have calculated % of 1-tabler for NL10-NL25 Zoom pools sporadically a few weeks ago.
There is not a difference at all it has been in the 30% area for all the pools.

Though one might consider that recs do take more time per hand because of more showdowns and longer decisions for trivial spots.
Thus I think the actual ratio for NL16 you might experience is lower and therefore tougher (assuming you 4-table).

Well seems like the odd sizing may be the reason, played 4k hands and I don't feel huge difference between 10NL. Definitely plenty of recreationals. Thanks guys!

Odd bet sizes were what put me off. It was plenty fishy but I spent more time trying to divide X$ by 0.16 than thinking about what I should do hahaha
