10/20 HU
Hey guys!
So i played this hand and in it the villain decides to raise-get in a bare nut flush draw on the flop, obviously his equity against everything is fine so it cant ever be bad, and can be very very good when i jam dominated draws. I see a few regs doing this sort of thing but it is something I pretty much never do, im always calling in his spot. Im just curious how people feel about this sort of spot? and how much does the flop texture matter? E.g. in this hand there are alot more dominated draws I can jam and therefore I like his play a lot more. Does it still have merit on K42fd for example?
Hand:
10/20 HU
Stacks 2k effective
Villain raise button to 40, I 3bet 8c9c to 160, villain calls
Flop 9s8h2s (Pot 320)
I bet 190, villain raises to 435, I shove for 2k, villain calls and shows A6ss
Questions:
1) Views on raise vs call NFD on drawy boards like this?
2) How does raise call NFD change on various board textures?
3) How does raise call NFD change against various opponent types?
4) Any merit to ever flatting the flop? Guess I could small 3bet/call rather than jam but i dont think im perceived to 3bet fold this flop that often?
Thanks a lot!
