100NL Top set vs checkraise - does calling have any merit?

Blinds: $0.50/$1.00 (6 Players) BN: $109.29
SB: $176.24
BB: $150.84
UTG: $233.71 (Hero)
MP: $31.95
CO: $258.84
Preflop ($1.50) Hero is UTG with K K
Hero raises to $3.00, 4 folds, BB calls $2.00
Flop ($6.50) T K 3
BB checks, Hero bets $4.50, BB raises to $15.50, Hero calls $11.00

I called flop just because I felt like I needed to call sometimes to keep my opponents guessing. Is that thinking right or does 3betting flop always have higher EV?

By calling I make it harder for me to cooler his KT/TT/33 as the board is very dynamic and on a lot of turns those hands might not feel comfortable getting it in. Also, his semibluffs will have equity and by calling I let him get there cheaply.

So should I always be 3betting KK here or is there some room for deception and call sometimes?
