I think both are bad.

Hand 1: On a board this dry, I'm risking too much because he can easily have all 9 combos of sets and all Axs 7 2p combos. If this board was like Jd 7s 2s Ad board, I think it's a lot better.

Hand 2: Even though I play completely anonymous tables, I think that I should add in some value hands (if nothing else, for practice at real tables some day when I move up to 200+). My overbet bluff/value ratio is like 8-11:1 for bluffs. Also, in general, I've been getting tons and tons of folds with my overbets so doing this with the nuts is probably not a good thing when I could just bet 16 and then 42.
