100NL - AKs deep in 3bet pot river decision
BB: Mushmellow: $192.95
SB: Ratchet82: $414.37

Villain is maniacally aggressive. He's playing 85% of his hands from both the button and the big blind. He's 3betting 27%. He's defending his 80% button open range vs my 3bet 57% of the time. It's 3am PST when I'm playing him so it's a late night session against a very profitable villain.
I've seen him do weird plays. Like on a 763s flop he check raised 87o and then min check raised got it in on an overcard turn pretty deep (showing that he doesn't quite value his hands correctly). Not sure what to make of that play but it seemed fishy to me. Also, one other important hand to note is that in another spot where the river brought in 4 flush he checked down 2nd pair (a hand with showdown value) in position.

I guess I could have even made it $11 or $12 to go when I am 193 bigs deep...

Should have sized this slightly bigger as my sizing here leaves a slight overbet on the river. This is the type of villain on most good rivers I'm jamming river for value and getting called by a lot worse. Jx, weaker Ax, maybe even 7x with a heart 88/99. TPTK is a monster in this spot vs this loose of a villain.

Bad river card for my specific hand. I check and villain shoves the rest in. What do you guys think about this spot? I know villain is crazy and maniacal, but I think that it's hard for me to find a call here. The timing on my river check was tank about 3 seconds then check.
How should I play my entire 3bet range that bets flop and bets the turn on this river? Is villain turning worse hands into bluffs here/ am I making a mistake by folding here?
Thanks!

wow this guy is pretty insane, but on river i think you have enough Ax with heart combos and stuff to call with, im not happy about hero-ing AKo here, hes crazy but we dont know if he would overvalue like AQo in this spot and jam when he has the option to just take the showdown. Esp with the read that he checkd down 2pair on 4flush before this confirms this.
Whats interesting i think is to make a blocking bet of like 1/3 or 1/4 pot, what do you think of this ?, he might call it w AQo ATo or something crazy
It feels like a check-fold to me otr. I would say that its way more common for a rec. player / maniac to overvalue Th-Qh here than turning his Ax or other random PPs into bluffs when you check. I also like the idea of blockbetting 1/4 of the pot in this spot, this type of player will often see it as a valuebet that is looking for calls from small hearts and you will often fold out anything but broadway hearts.
Alright. Thanks for the help guys. My only concern with a block bet is that I think he would be checking back the hands that I beat anyways trying to showdown. He could also view it as weak and be more likely to turn more of his range into bluffs that we incorrectly fold? As you guys pointed out I think this is just a sigh fold.
From a GTO standpoint, were going to have all hearts and then top set, 77, AJ, which is all better than top pair top kicker. I'm not sure how to do the equation but I think we won't need to call with AK here.
