Both the fishes in this pot are very bad/station...pro is probably one of the best players in the game.

I make it 100$ with T6dd on the btn

SB(fish) calls,Straddle(Pro calls),limper calls

4-way to the flop(400$)

FLOP: T63r chkd around to me...I bet 300$..

sb folds,straddler calls..fish calls

TURN:9(bckdoor fd comes in) (1300$)

I bet 800$,pro x-r to 2400$..fish folds..I call

I think you have to fold the turn, or even xb the turn. What are you getting value from? What´s the bluff-range of the pro (we do agree on you having a bluffcatcher, after him x/r, right)?

We can't xb turn here the fish is still in the pot. I agree after he c/r turn we just have a bluff catcher and I am not too happy about calling down here but his value range seems extremely narrow here.

Reasons for betting the turn,as we still have fish in the hand who is a station & might continue very wide..

As per calling the pro's x-r,my tht process was ..tht why is he x-r turn & getting the fish out of hand..instead of flatting turn & taking it from there...as anyways he very rarely get's paid by me.

thoughts??

Yeah that's really weird to c/r turn here with his value hands. How aggressie is he? Does he make weird bluffs like this?

Well, if you call turn, call river unless you think river hit his hand or makes it such that he would stop betting a bluff.

The pro can float call with anything. He can put you on air, see that the SB folds figure there's a good chance other fish has nothing or will fold and he'll have you headsup.

The fact that you made the raise with T6d makes it so that you are the type of player to raise with junky hands preflop and I'd assume you're good enough to fire continuation bets too, which makes playing back at you something reasonable to do if unafraid of sticky situations which is kind of what we have here...

There's a high likelihood that you are weak imo, therefor that puts a reasonable likelihood that someone is playing back vs. that with nothing. I wouldn't be too surprised about a gutshot.

BUT

When you call the turn, aren't you saying that you believe your hand is best - that pro is bluffing? So why would it be worst on the river?

It doesn't seem like such a bad spot to bluff. It's a dry board, it's tough for you to have much. If you had a made hand preflop it would be an overpair. Or Ts. Maybe pro has a T that he's turning into a bluff reasoning that you probably don't have a set..

I don't really know, but I feel like you should fold the turn if you don't want to call river.

Also wht does his x-r range consist of when the strt gets thr on the turn...although I rarely have 78(as i wudn't c-bet into 5ppl),but the fish is likely to have some st's.

Apart from tht when I bet turn again into 2ppl after they hv cont on such a dry board ...my range is very strong...mostly T9's & sets(T6 is the bottom of my range tht I am betting for val)...so there is so less combos of hands tht he is x-r...in my mind..he shudn't be comfortable x-r 33's/66's,as i can easily have 33/66/TT or am I over thinking in this spot?
