1-1 euro live game AQ against a tight player missplayed?
*** MOD: Moved to Low Stakes [2013-12-22 2:00 CET] ***
I am sitting at a 10-man table with about 330 euros in front off me. I have a tight image and non bluffy my opponent is another tight player who I won a 3-way all in against a hour or so back with AA against QQ the last guy had some crap hand like Qx and was a fish.
Hero sb
Villian mid pos about 100 euros
Villian raises to 6 euros everybody folds I call with AsQs.( here is my first missplay maby should I have 3-betted him if he knows that I am tight and might find a fold? at the same time he will have position on me and might call anyway with a big pot to play. He is tight aswell and it feels like I am loosing money if he 4-bets me with QQ+ Or just calls with pockets and AJ+?)
Flop KcQc4s I chk and villian bets out 9 euros. My reasoning here is this: c/r is bad since the only hands I make him fold is QJ or maby AQ and pockets under Q. The problem is that I block the queen and the Ace so he having those 2 hands are kinda small chance. The same goes with JJ that will probably c back on flop rather than cont-betting. If he calls my c/r I have a real tough time deciding on the river unless an Q comes. Mb even the A is no good but he can easily have AK in his range on something like JcTc(I have seen him play suited connectors before and he raised with them preflop but he usually raises smaller). If he has a hand like KQ and KJ the a is perfect but I doubt I can get much value out off him. Anyway I elected to call since I have a backdoor flush and villian might be cont-betting a weaker hand like AJ or even QJ/KJ. The reasoning JJ might check back is it has some shodown value. I am wondering if I am making a mistake by just calling this bet since his range are so narrow here and instead just folded?
Turn is 5s Board KcQc4s5s
I decided to c again if I donk out and get showed then a hand with a lot off potential have to be folded.
Villian bets 25 euros. Hero shoves. My reasons for shoving are this: I have flushdraw with a pair wich has decent equity against anything but a set. And he might be scared and fold a KJ here which is a hand that makes the most reasoning for him to have. I dont know if he would fold AK but if he for some reason would its a huge gain here so my main question is my reasoning is the hand played well? And will villian EVER fold a K here? His bet sizing also dictates a strong hand but I guess if he has a K and puts me on some kind of draw betting so strong makes it quite logical. I block A so AK,AA combos are less and Q which makes QQ and QK less likely as well.
