What is the best guide on how to control underdog plays?
I tend to self sabotage myself during dry bouts during bubble time.
In one extreme, I could outlast 3-5 players by playing extreme TW but eventually I get cracked and I only get to the final two table.
In the other extreme, I get this image of being an unpredictable dangerous bluffer beginner who gets lucky that when I get a string of bad losses in live games I overplay underdog cards.
By underdog cards (I don't know the proper name), I would shove the next great hand I have if I can read that we are both suited but the other player has a higher kicker pre-flop with the mindset of trying to create this fearsome LAG type of image despite losing three to four times in huge losses (but with enough chips to reach the final table without needing to win big).
Example I read my opponent as having A suited plus a face card and I reraised him all-in preflop with J 10 suited. Turns out we were both suited but neither of us hit anything at the flop - I just don't know what kind of raise I could do to make him fold at the flop since my table image is LW/TW rarely TAG/LAG (I am trying to shift to that but lack of knowledge on how to improve my Turn aggression keeps me behind tables where these players would 2BB/3BB with 500/1000 blinds and above and bad cards or good cards that lose any non-bluff value at the flop.)
