Hi. It depends what type of opponents do you have at the table. If there is no spewy guys behind you or they are very tight, you can consider raising because you will have position. Besides that you will be raising into UTG, so everyone behind you will give you tight range. But then you need to be verry carefull post flop, becuase most of the time UTG will flat strong Ax hands so A high flops maybe won't be so good for you to triple barrel, but rather check flop and make delay c-bet on turn and check back river or make small bet to get value from pairs or weaker Ax hands and fold if opponent raise.
If you decide to flat, you can invite others to the pot as well you let aggresive opponent to squeeze. So here is also important that you don't have some maniac behind you, because you will be folding too much. And stack sizes that have opponents behind you are more or less shoving ones so you can expect 3bet shoves dicent amount of time.
In my oppinion flatting is good option here and post flop I think that you can't do much but play like you did. It is multiway pot and TP is most likely not value hand. Nice played.
GL at tables!
Loose Call, play by Value.
Tight I 3Bet. Tight 4Bet i fold. Tight Call... i play by value control pote
Folding is fine since we're likely to go multiway and we just won't win often enough. We also get squeezed sometimes here, and just have to fold.
I think 3 betting would also be okay. We look very strong, but I think this should be only against certain players (high fold to 3 bettors % and/or open wide from ep).
Sizing wise I kinda like 600-625.
Hi guys,
I prefer just 3bet or fold strategy in this kind of spot. Versus loose guy 3bet as value. Versus tight 3bet as bluff or fold.
well, first of all you didnt mention what type of player bb is!
So if he was like recreational and bit loose player propably he shoves there with 20bbs something like a9 or a8...
Readles on opponents we should give UTG a tight range around 10%
however, BB his range should be verry wide. I give him up to 50%. the price he gets here is excellent he has 1/8. Pre flop he should be reraising top of his range here. TT+ AQ+. So we can discount his top Ax hands.
Now notice that on the flop, when its raised and called into him Hes stack to pot ratio is not that good. He basicly has x1.46 potsize stack left. (pot = 1680 his stack is 2485.) him shoving isn't that rare. He could have AT, A6, 66 and ocasionaly TT (although he should raise that AI pre flop. I even think 66 is an AI pre flop)
But why would he shove these? It would be bad to get the other players of their hand.
My guess is that he has a descent Ax hand (A9, A8 etc or even something as an KT hand.
I make the call here
