Weird spot mid way through a $175 live tournament.
None: Jon Doe: 0
This hand came up midway during a $175 live tournament.
The Villain had only been at my table for a little while, but he seemed to be a decent player.
Blinds are 300-600 No ante.
Folds to Villain, playing a stack of around 40-50K, and he raises to 2k in the HJ.
I start the hand with 32K, and flat on the button with 33. BB calls as well. 6.5K in the pot.
Flop comes AQ6 rainbow. BB checks, Villain checks, I bet 3.5K. BB folds, Villain calls. Turn is a 3. Still rainbow board. 13.5k in the middle.
Villain checks, I bet 7.5k, he calls. 28.5k in pot.
River is a 9, and he puts me all in for about 20kIsh.
I find his river shove weird, but is this always an "eventual snap call", does anybody find a fold in this spot?
