WCOOP kickoff $109 - Near the top of my range ?

CO: 5549
BN: 7525
SB: 11129
BB: 1903
UTG: 8560
UTG1: 4205
UTG2: 6375 (Hero)
LJ: 6446
HJ: 5576
Preflop (120) (9 Players)
Hero was dealt Q Q
UTG raises to 160, UTG1 folds, Hero raises to 400, LJ folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls 240
UTG is more loose than optimal, 34/30/5. Pretty standard to me
Flop (920) 2 T Q (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero checks
I think his x/f range has so little equity against my hand and I have some offsuit AK combos that may check back here, so to balance it I put QQ here.
Turn (920) 2 T Q J (2 Players)
UTG bets 920, Hero calls 920
Worst turn card on the deck for my hand but I think he 4bets/gii AK pre
River (2760) 2 T Q J 3 (2 Players)
UTG bets 2760
now what ?

Dont like the cback on that flop that deep. Bet at least 2/5 of pot an let him follow w his gutshots and so. As of board You can definetly have AK the way You played the hand. So I doubt he s betting pot twice not having AK or like nut flush draw on the turn. Id fold the river the way its played.

I prefer a C-bet as well, unless you believe vilain will go bananas if you check back. As played, I think we have to fold river unfortunately. AK is very much in vilain's range AND your range, spades get there. As AK is in your range (didn't you check back the flop to rep AK?), QQ is not the top of your range. And anyway it's a flawed justification for calling in most cases IMHO.

Thats why I put near, not the top. And villain is the type of player that plays his hand not my range, as usual on the beginnings of this big fields tournaments. I knew he was going to come bananas on any turn since he made a few orbits ago but the turn card just harassed my strategy. I see as a fold also even tough he can be value betting JJ/TT/JT/QJ on his mind and getting called by worse. The problem on problem on cbetting the flop is that I have no bluffs.. but against this guy I shouldn't be concerned about it

I'd still bet flop, too. Great thing is you can bet 30-40% and get <99 to fold and when you say balance, I'd bet AK here too because we have every value combo and AK balances out our value-heavy range.

He can definitely have AK here, too. If there's no dynamic with you two your 3b here is a nutted range so flatting AK becomes a viable option.

I would still call, though. It's gross but 34/30 and you beat a lot of hands he pots here including 22 because loose people flat any pair.
