Three Spots with Three of a kind in 888 major
Hand 1: I start the hand with about 150k CO covers. Blinds are 3k/6k/600.
Folded to CO (a good reg don't know who cause its 888) he minraises I call Jd9d in the BB.
Flop 937r
Check he bets 12k, i call (thoughts on raising here?).
Turn T I check he bets 22k I call (fairly standard IMO maybe a fold but I doubt it).
River 9 I check he bets 22k again I have 70k in my stack (obviously not folding call or shove)
My thoughts on this are that I should shove, because I doubt he bets 22k with a better hand although I don't think he's calling my jam too often cause its very hard for me to be bluffing, that said it is possible he bet 22k with a strong hand so he gets called by 7x and Tx more often.
Hand 2:
I start with 180k Villain is from Russia, but has been playing fairly solid thus far, he covers me but barely. Blinds are still 3k 6k 600.
I raise AJo utg 7 handed he flats next to act, everyone else folds.
Flop AQ8dd
I bet 15k he calls.
Turn 6
I check he bets 25k I call
River A I check he shoves
This one is very close, I almost folded the turn, he can easily have AQ and 88, QQ and AK are also possible. I'm not sure he flats pf with suited broadways but its possible that he has them and is bluffing.
Hand 3
I have 140k SB is a reg who has been playing well, and aggressively a few hands earlier he 3bet called 88 vs a hj open for about 25bbs HJ had AJs and he won, fairly standard, but worth noting.
Folded to him in the sb he makes it 18k at 4k/8k/800, i call with ks7d in the bb. I think there is merit to shoving pf and if I had KT or K7s I likely would.
Flop is AJ7cc
He bets 15k I call (maybe fold but he bet very small so I opted not to).
Turn is the 7c
He bets 32k, I strongly consider shoving but opted to call and call any river that's not a club.
River is the Tc.
He shoves for my last 75k I grumble and ?
My thoughts here are I should probably just jam the turn and make my life simple, that said there is maybe some value to calling and calling bricks because he has a number have a bluffs and I can happily call 2/3 of the rivers in the deck. On the river I think he can be bluffing but probably not often enough to call, especially because he won't shove a 7 or a strong ace on the river which probably make up most of his turn betting range that doesn't have a club.
