I think pre and flop are standard so nothing to say there. This is the second hand into the tournament so completely read less.

When he checks turn I just bet assuming that he continues with most of his decent aces, so I assume he is either check folding or check calling Qx. I flat the check raise mainly as i didnt expect it plus I don't think he plays weaker Ax like this.

When he checks river I'm even more confused. I decide to value small to try and get called by smaller Ax or some random spazz Qx as this is a low stakes tournament.

Any comments on the hand welcome!

Yea, I think pre is meh. Suited would def be a call but I'm not in love with the AJo here vs a UTG 3x. As played I think you played it well, though I'd bet like 800 on the river. I just feel like he has you beat so rarely that I'd wanna get some more value out of worse aces or some random KK or Qx hands.

I disagree, pre and flop seems to me pretty standard. Turn: I become confuse. I don't think he is check-raising with a random Ace, so I assume here that he could have a full house, a bigger Ace like AK, maybe AJ or a ridiculous bluff. I'm calling, but i'm not sure i'm ahead (too much pot odds).
River: He checks... for me it's obviously that he don't have a full house what lead us to put him on pure bluff. or the bigger ace. With two aces on board and you holding one it's unlikely he has AK. That being said i'm going to a value bet and folding all day for a raise without a good read.

Just don't forget to put a note on him.

Well played! Nothing you can do about it, such strong hand is simply unfoldable in tournament like b4 and you can't ever checkback rivers here.

I also agree with Ondra, you're pretty likely to have the best hand so I would valuebet bigger to get value from worse aces, sth like 1100 looks good, you should get easily paid out in micro stakes. Qx and air propably folds no matter what sizing u make (unless it's like 200), so I wouldn't really try to get value out of those - worse aces (even tho it's very few combos) are your main target.

Fold pre, AJo against an UTG+1 raise should be an automatic fold unless the player is very loose. Who opens A8o here 133bb deep with no antes?

As played check back river or bet much smaller, he shouldn't have worse aces.

Yeah, agreed. I mean, sometimes we flat vs KQ and some pairs but it's still a pretty snug range with hands mostly ahead of us.

I'd say unless you see him opening suited connectors and such from EP just fold and avoid calling down on 3 streets when an Ace flops.

Either that or he whiffs and we take down a small pot. It's pretty rare that we make decent chips here.
