I think Id fold buuut, when it comes to this kind of situation i think I should call wider sometimes to be able to get deeper with  bigger stack, although I think With 12bb U still have a lot of fold equity when u shove marginal and still can make one raise.fold pre

Venturing into the MTT forum, let's hope I don't embarrass myself. :-)

Where in the tournament was this? Regardless, it's a call you should always make with these stacks. If he'd covered you and far from the money (ICM not a factor), you'd have a profitable call for your stack as well. If you were at FT and he'd covered you, it would be be a fold due to ICM (you can run some sims at HoldemResources.net to explore this).

playing some wcoop plo zen ?

the most extreme case is that, suppose that is the satellite bubble top 7 gets 10k and 8th gets nothing. Then you should call 21.0%, 22+ A2s+ A5o+ KTs+ KJo+ QJs. Even in this situation Q9s is pretty close (0.05 usd loss in a 70k prize pool)

Training MTT strategy and enjoying it. :-)

Can you show me how you set up that calculation? (If it's not too much hassle).
