Although villain was quite active - playing 27/20/3.0/7 in ~30 hands - I didn't want to 4-bet him here since I think that I would only isolate myself against his super strong hands here when I 4-bet. Thus, I decided to call. The flop seems quite nice for my hand and I decide to ch/c since I don't want to inflate the pot here and I still want to get value from his worse hands. OTT, I'm not really sure if I'm ahead of him or if I'm way behind. I don't have any further reads on how he is playing his draws or AJ+ on that board. I'm really struggling to find a fold here.

So what do you think? Is my line ok or do you recommend playing the hand different?

I dont think you can ever just flat here out of position with 28bbs having a hand as strong as JJ because you do not want to get it in. Im sure he's 3bet.(squeezing) calling worse hands than JJ here + the offchance he has complete air. I can only think of one reason to not ever get it in in this spot and this is if the squeezer is just a huge nit who would never do this light.

I cant see myself getting into this spot but as played im c/jamming flop. You werent just set mining I assume, which would be horrible, so I guess you should always check/jam here.

Thanks for your comment! No, I wasn't set mining. I guess a ch/jam would have been better than going for the ch/c and ch/c. I still don't like the idea of 4-betting here pre...but maybe I'm just wrong.

I would also shove pre, as played I would definitely call turn. Although you will only have 2 outs sometimes, I think he will also show up with a lot of hands you beat, such as FDs, lower pairs, and even random air.
