What where the blinds? 7500/15000 ante 1500? According to holdem resources calculator it is a fold see Holdem resources. If you think he is likely to push 13.0%, 22+ A7s+ ATo+ KJs+ KQo QJs then according to Holdem resources calculator you should call 6.8%, 66+ AJs+ AQo+
thanks bud.. ive yet to watch stevie444's video on the holdem resources calculator so havent been able to get an answer.. thanks again for that!
Think it's closer than you think - reads are probably more important than stats - anyone with a 13.6% 3B over 260 hands overall will be pushing a lot wider than that, at the FT, from the SB v a BTN open when he's the smallest stack w M=8. If he's from brazil, russia or has a decent OPR over 1000+ mtt's, and we haven't seen him nitting it up then it's a fist pump call imo. There's a ton of baby A's and broadways in his 3B jams.
prejudice against brazilians! what a ugly thing to do. The blinds are 8500/17000.
I rather shove myself this spot, which is profitable by holdemresources and he can't call profitably with 33 in terms of ICM (cEV it is the bottom of the calling range), but 33 is a ok re-steal jam.
If it's prejudice to assume that most brazilians play push fold well, then yes I'm prejudiced :)
Didn't realise the blind levels were higher. So definitely an unexploitable shove. Against aggressive rejammers ATo probably makes more inducing (and we can fold to a cold 4B from BB - or call if he's a lunatic) but shoving is good too.
Hey guys,
I'm brazilian recreative \ amateur player, and say You think that all brazilian players are agressive or play good pre-flop, sometimes you fail. Irs the same fir russians.
On his shoes (sb) I call with 17,8% of my range:55+, A4s+, K8s+, QJs, JTs, A9o+, KTo+, QJo.
Hey! You mean you jam with that range?
