should i have called? low stakes MTT

Hey guys so there were two interesting hands that I played on Sunday in Pokerstars Bigger 11 and another low stakes MTT tournament. I need your guys opinion if I should have called these two hands that I played...

These are the hands:

(The Bigger 11) I'm in the bb with AQss with the biggest stack at the table, villain opens to about 2.5x on the hijack seat, I call. Flop comes Q high (8 Q 3 rainbow) villain bets just under half pot and I check raise him to 2000. This is the interesting part, he clicks it back (3200) 3 betting me, with the pot odds to good i call, then he bombs the turn (Td bringing in a flush draw) and I fold...should I have called or jammed the turn? His 3bet on the flop just showed so much strength, I was thinking maybe he had 88 or KK (after playing more with him he showed that he was loose aggro donk)...

By check raising the flop I think you get him to fold a lot of his bluffs that might fire again on the turn and river. My default line with TPTK OOP is to check/call down. What are you hoping to get value from by raising the flop? And when he 3bets the flop, what does his range mostly look like? If it's crushing you then TPTK is a fold. As played I think folding the turn is absolutely fine - you don't win the tournament on one hand and you don't have to make a crying call for a lot of chips to see if you're right. You showed you are strong and he showed he is even stronger. Nice fold!

By calling in the BB there you've massively under repped your hand which ultimatly makes this hand hard to play.

It's not like the guy is opening from EP.

3bet and it makes things easier. As played, check calling this dry a board with this strong a hand is by far the best line to take. I'm likely to check call 3 streets (depending on sizing and river card) given this board texture.

Agree for the most part, tho underrepping your hand is really good in spots like these, because they just won't think we are at the top of our range here. X/C 2 streets at least, depending on runout. However, the min3bet on the flop is highly suspicious and I think most of the times in low buyin MTT's this isnt an info-raise, but a neonsign stating: 'i have it, pls fold'.
