Hey KK_Shi,

Preflop: I think you should size up here being so deep and VS a limp. I would be making it around 4bb.

Flop: I imagine multiway this hand is mixing checking with betting. When we do bet I think anywhere from 25-50% pot with portions of our range seems reasonable.

Turn: This is a turn where our range is interested in a very large sizing (when the 2nd flush draw materialises). I would be betting this turn fairly often with AT here and when I do decide to bet, I would be using a sizing of 90-125% pot.

River: I like your sizing here, as when our range is interested in betting we will be using the shove size in this situation. Although, as played with turn sizing I imagine this hand is mostly going to check river and when we do bet for value we are going to be most polarised to boats and 2pairs with the ax.

Hey! I came in here to check out the question and was going to try to post my thoughts but you did a pretty thorough job of summing up the hand. I’m quite confused about a few of the sizings you discussed using and was wondering if I could ask some questions.

Flop- I don’t really understand why we would use 25% sizing here. With AT it seems like a small sizing is bad when we do bet because we benefit from protection multi-way here and our hand is quite vulnerable vs several wide ranges. Maybe this is a combo that falls into the 50% range and we would use the smaller size with hands that do a better job of retaining equity on later streets?

River - a bit surprised that we use this size with range here, but that’s probably because I have no clue how to play 200bb NLHE optimally :). Would you be only having that one size here with range and just checking back everything in the middle? It makes sense to polarize here, would we just be jamming all our very strong hands and then shoving our bluffs that have the best unblocking qualities (not blocking the front or back Door flushdraws I guess)?

Hey Douggyfr3sh! Just a heads up I haven't solved this specific spot, just basing it on what I have seen the solver do.

Flop: Most likely 2 sizing's here multiway, small and a larger size (up to perhaps 50% pot). While I agree that ATo here, with no A/T of clubs, mostly wants to large bet, I imagine that it will mix in sizing's and use the smaller sizing occasionally, hence the 25-50% pot.

River: I would say almost no one knows how to play 200bb optimally haha. Yes I think the only sizing that makes sense as this point will be a shove, as the strong value portion of our range shares a very large portion of the pot, I can't see there being any purpose for a small/medium size bet in this line. Not blocking the FDFD will be slightly more relevant here, but yes also not blocking Q/J/T of hearts.

Anyway that is my thoughts on the hand. Let me know if you still have a conflicting opinion.
