Raising over limp from SB in BB
Hi guys. I'm wondering about what peoples opinions are on the range of hands we should be raising when somebody completes the SB. I am talking about MTT's here. Obviously alot depends on stack depth and the opponent but lets just say the effective stack is 25-40 BB and a regular is limping in. I'd like to hear what people have to say and their theories. Up until now, I have gone back and forth with different ranges.
At the moment, I am raising most Ax [( A5o+), (this leaves some Ax in my checking range to rep A hi boards)],broadways, all pairs. My bluffs consist of hands that do not flop very well. Hands like Q2o,32s,73s,82s,J4o, etc. Generally Im not raising middling connector type hands or K hi here. Obviously would be open to be proven wrong here.
Also what size are people going? I generally go for 3.25x to 3.5x.
Looking forward to your thoughts. Thanks! :)
