I play 6-max cash almost exclusively. However, I sometimes get some MTT tickets for free (or at a huge discount) through some promos etc. and it seems a waste to not use them at all.

Is there some kind of quick-and-dirty method to becoming half-decent at MTTs? Any videos here at RIO? Or some simple tournament book you'd recommend? Should I try playing some SNGs for practicing short stack/ICM/HU play?
