Seems like a normal hand for me, I would do the same here.

Yeah i would have done the same. Its not really suspicious when he bets small on the flop. He probably thinks he wont get much action with the hands of his that have hit. As for his drawing hands i believe he would have checked the turn with those being this is too dangerous of a situation going against a 3 bettor who just called his small flop bet.
