Protect the hand or induce?

Blinds: t10/t20 (6 Players) UTG: 4,730
MP: 3,000
CO: 2,060
BN: 3,510 (Hero)
SB: 2,740
BB: 2,860
Preflop (30) Hero is BN with 4 4
2 folds, CO raises to 100, Hero calls 100, 2 folds
Flop (230) 7 3 3
CO checks, Hero bets 150, CO calls 150
Turn (530) 7 3 3 3
CO checks, Hero bets 254, CO raises to 540, Hero calls 286
Here the question is not about the check-raise from the villain because of my strong read that he is full of sh*t and almost never have me beat, but my question is a bit specific. I am always betting turn but not sure about sizing. Taking into account the stack size of the villain and the fact that he does not believe me much, do I want him to call me with, let's say, AJo and I can bet like 40% and often get a call or even induce him to do something stupid or it would be better to lead for about half the pot or even bigger to protect my vulnerable boat? + I don't want to give him good odds to call.
River (1,610) 7 3 3 3 4
CO checks, Hero bets 2,720 and is all in, CO folds
Here I put him all in which I guess was not the best play as I could maybe bet really small and get called or again - give villain the opportunity to hang himself.
Final Pot BN wins 1,610

What do you think, guys?
