MTT Cash Game Idea
10 tables
10 players per table
Buy-in $300 - $200 player/$100 House/Prize Pool
10 1 hour levels
Blinds are $1-$2
Every round begins with a Bomb Pot, player puts in $10, $20, $30, $40, $50, $60, $70, $80, $90, $100
At the end of every round, the player at each table with the lowest stack is eliminated.
1 Table is removed every round
When tournament ends, players keep what they have. No winner is required
Texas Poker rooms are social clubs that charge an hourly rate between $10-$15 per hour
From the $100 fee, $80 would go to the house for hourly rate, $10 towards food/beverage for 100 players, $10 goes to to prize pool (The player with the most money at the end gets either $1000 or prize equivalent.
A player doesn't have to lose all their money in the tournament. If they still have $1 or $200 or more at the end of a level, they can keep their money when they're in last place at their table at the end of a level.
This format can be applied to any stakes.
My vision is a 4 room poker establishment with this cash game tournament structure, daily.
Room 1: Low stakes $1-$2 and $2-$5
Room 2: Mid Stakes: $5-$10 and $10-$20
Room 3: High Stakes $25-$50 and $50-$100
Room 4: Elite Stakes $100-$200 and Above
My idea is inspired by the times we rapidly jump stakes when we play online. Trying to turn $10 into $10,000 in one night.
Implementing this ideas would allow players to jump stakes in a Live setting and also allow them to not risk losing their bankroll in one shot.
