Mindset and Multitabling problem?!

Hi,

I need help.
I try so badly to win a MTT. I won some before, but from Sept 2014 I grind MTTs instead of cashgames.
I cant make any final table anymore.
Today I played the 2$+RA MTT. 2-tabling MTTs.
I made this beautiful graph: http://prntscr.com/55l378

Then I got JJ and 13bb and had to push it. KQ called and hit a Q. all over. place 166 of 1200 and 135 were itm later on.

I am a good player, not perfect but I should beat the field easily. I see so many too aggro or weak plays. They make bad calls vs me and that costs me also EV. I stay pretty tight because I know how they gamble in micro MTT.

I cant fuck up the variance by multitabling. There are not so may MTT at stars. I would want to start 6-12 MTTs like that and say FU to variance. But on these small samples the MTTs fuck me up.

I really try hard since Sept 2014. How do MTTs regs make get samplesize fast?

I have never had this problem. Usually good calls cost me money. But yes, MTTs are very high variance, esp when you get down to <15 BB.

Since you are coming in here with the devastating KQ>JJ story and asking about how to get a sample size fast, I might just say that you need play a little more, and try not to worry about short term EV.

Mindset problems are the name of the game in poker, they are there for everyone. I just wouldn't delve too deep when investigating why you won/lost flips. Lately when I am playing MTTs I just try and focus on making the right decision (a little cilche), but really have been focusing on opponent tendencies. I would just say it is important to note that every player is different (even at micro MTTs) they are not all spew-monkeys who just shove every time, with any two cards. Yes it may seem that way sometimes, but just focus on your play and try to make the optimal decision for each situation.

^^^^Listen to above. Easier than u think to just keep loading up the mtts man.

Poker is hard for us mere mortals. Dont go thinking you're due etc etc until you worked at it for a long time.

Not just at the tables either.

You need to be humble. Don't blame other players. Yes you lost the JJ vs KQ hand but had you not been down to 13bbs maybe you wouldn't have been in that situation. Perhaps you made some mistakes earlier in the tournament that made you short....Maybe you nitted it up waiting for good hands and got blinded away. I don't know what happened but I'd be willing to be you didn't play perfectly. Instead of focusing on the results of one hand, focus on poker as a whole and what you can do to improve. I don't say this to put you down so please don't take offense.

I've already said it but stop blaming other players for making bad calls. I get excited when someone makes a bad call against me (the JJvsKQ hand doesn't sound like a bad call) because I know in the long run it makes me money. Sure it sucks when you play for hours upon hours only to get your money in good and some guy hit a 3 outer on you but that is part of the game and if you can't accept that you shouldn't be playing seriously. If you can't handle the variance perhaps give cash games a try?
