Greetings, I'm trying to relearn/ firm up some fundamentals and wanted to get some opinions. In cases like this where I have mathematically enough equity to justify a call ( I ran in stove my 3 6, o versus villains VPIP 38% and 23% and it resulted in me having 19.36% and my calling pot odds are 4.33:1 =19% . Wondering if it would be a mistake if I folded or are there other reasons I'm not considering? As 3,6o has weak implied odds for tp, 4 flushes ect I was debating if it is best to fold? In terms of future/ post flop I was thinking that given effective stack sizes, I only really should be playing if I flopped hard like 2 pair+, straight ect. and fold otherwise. Given Pot odds are supposed to be a mathematical expression of risk to reward, should I be calling here correct because I'd be taking an opportunity loss if I didn't?
I'm trying not to be influenced by results in this situation, but its really piqued my curiosity.
Thanks in advance.
