So yeah, villain is a good supernova who wins a decent amount at the midstakes. He is capable of making plays and knew that his x/raise was FOS 90% of the time. I put him on any Ax/Kx FD, mp+gutshot and all kinds of random combo draws he didnt want to x.call since they were too weak. So yeah I CIB just to induce, but he obviously finds a fold so im assuming he had nothing. Anyways, against this type of player who can spazz randomly, is CIB better than making it a little bigger? Knowing he knows I know hes a spazz at times, is my CIB just too strong? hes running 24/21 with a 14% 3b over 450 hands. Thanks.

FWIW I just doubled up hand before.

I'm not positive about reg tendencies in MTTs, but I assume most of his bluff c/r range has very little equity. Mostly stuff like AJo, 22, KQo. Though I do worry about losing action from 33/55, that's a small concern given that he c/c flop and that there are so many more combos of bluffy hands.

I think CIB does look very strong to people because of how draw heavy the board is, and how likely they think you'll perceive them to be continuing (though I think it's a great bluff because of that combined with the fact that I don't expect them to have a large amount of equity).

I think you can actually go ahead and call here, planning to call any river (but raise at least T-A offsuit rivers).

I think people have a fear of not getting stacks in when their hand is good enough to. You don't need to get all-in here to max your EV. Calling against a very bluffy range (with little equity) and likely picking off a 30k river bluff (you're not folding any rivers) seems to me like the highest EV play given your read.

If you know he is a spazz or state him as a spazz and with your thought "I CIB to induce” why would you want to CIB bigger if he is a spazz and your plan is to induce him? So wouldn’t going bigger just limit his spazzing range to his stronger holdings opposed to keeping it smaller where he has more room to “spazz”?

Wow, thanks for that feedback phil. Totally agree, right after the hand I just felt so bad cause I just cant see how I could ever be bluffing here given board texture. But im gonna try adding that to my game and be more aware for next time, especially reg v reg.

Agree with everything Phil said. But I would also add that I think your turn sizing is a little small. I think betting closer to 70-75% of the pot ott would be better...
