M factor or BB
Hello Guys
Following the advices from I started create some fundamentals. Now I am stuck and don't know how I should divide stages for MTT.
Should I using M factor from Mr, Dan Harrington or follow the BB factors?
To be honest with you for me more pleasant is BB form. But for example where are antes in MTT we can easy start our play when we have 15 bb and M factor shove 7.
Any advice how which trends should I follow?

I would not have a set blind depth at which I play shove or fold in general.
It depends alot on:
-who is in the blinds
-my position
-who is behind me
Vs sticky solid regulars that playback (flat or 3bet) alot from the blinds I am likely to play shove/fold at 15 bb in late position but still minraise from EP or MP (when my range is stronger).
Vs nitty blinds I am likely to have a minraise strategy even at 10bb since you can open alot more vs them and can exploitatively more often to their shoves.
Ok. I got it. But really I already read some books and for example in Kill everyone they use CSI (Harrington M factor) to describe stage of tournament and in others book like examples are in bb. Which is more optimal to play? Can I some how converts CSI numbers from Kill Everyone to BB and of course other way around. :)
To best describe a tourney spot M is the way to go because it takes into account the size of the antes which make a huge difference.
Alot of the regs who disscuss spots in bb they know the difference between 15 bb deep with antes and 15 bb deep without antes, so they are actualy using M also.
Ok. As I understand most off my play should I using BB ratio. But the best solution when antes coming into play is tried figure it out Our M ratio (is more precise). And most of people play to tight because they using still bb ratio even when antes are involve. ? I understand good? Or I miss something?
Correct. However, be careful with M giving you a wrong idea of 'safety'. By definition it doesn't account for the rate of change of the blinds and antes, so always also check when the next level is changing, or adjust by taking more risks earlier than what Harrington says if you're so inclined.
For more information, check Arnold Snyder's books and website about Chip Utility Theory.
Now what i spotted. That many times I should push using M factor, but BB factor still shove that's still is PFR Like M factor shove 5 but BB factor 18.. I follow 2 rules. one is 12 BB deep start openShowing and M factor less than 7 start openShowing.
It's correct assumption?
Not clear what you mean, especially the 2nd sentence. Sometimes BB amount will be equivalent or very near in terms of shoving points.
