Live $3500 WPT Hand History/Theory Question
Early in WPT $3500 event. Lost half my stack already so have 15K at 100/200/25. Laggy Spanish button (won WPT Prague) opens 500, sb whale calls, and I 3b JhJd to 2100 from bb. Button takes time and calls and sb folds. Button starts hand with around 40K. I have not been very active. Assume button is opening close to 100%. I'm not sure what his peeling range is but I'd assume he's peeling super wide in position.
Flop (4925) - AdQs4h
Should I be betting or checking this flop here? Reason to bet would be to prevent getting bluffed. As a primarily cash game player I don't usually incorporate this type of thought process but in MTTs it seems more applicable. If I check I'm probably going to have to check/fold. However w/ my stack size he can just float with his entire range and see what I do on the turn. If I bet and get called I can't really continue. Any advice from Live MTT guys would be greatly appreciated.
