Iso raise and double barrel bluff HU vs passive fish
Hey RIO, played this hand a few nights ago in a 6max MTT:
Winning Poker Network - 100/200 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4: http://www.pokertracker.com
Hero (SB): 35.78 BB
BB: 40.48 BB
CO: 24.17 BB
BTN: 67.47 BB
4 players post ante of 0.1 BB, Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB
Pre Flop: (pot: 1.9 BB) Hero has Kc 5d
fold, BTN calls 1 BB, Hero raises to 3.43 BB, fold, BTN calls 2.43 BB
Flop : (8.25 BB, 2 players) 7s 8s 2d
Hero bets 4.18 BB, BTN calls 4.18 BB
Turn : (16.6 BB, 2 players) 7c
Hero bets 8.08 BB, fold
Hero wins 16.6 BB
Opponent had limped 7/24 opportunities and had not raised pre once in 38 hands. Villain is a passive fish and continues to be passive/bad post flop. I think vs this villain type this is a great line which is going to be extremely profitable, especially the turn barrel. I have attacked this hand in flopzilla and did a detailed writeup on this spot, but want to get the initial opinions of you RIO members and have some discussion before giving my analysis. If I can get some people to weigh in on this spot I will post my analysis. Thanks!
