I played this so bad, I think
First, I am new to this site. This is my first post. If there is a way to fully post hands from WPN please let me know.
Blinds: 100/50/10
Buy in: $10 +$1
Hero starting stack:4,937
Villain starting stack: 6,371
Folded to me in the HJ with KcTc where I open raise to $220. Villain, who is unknown to me, 3bets his button to $645. SB and BB fold. I flat feeling like with the small 3bet gives me the right odds to call and I likely have decent equity against his range. Flop comes AsKs9c giving me middle pair, backdoor straight and flush draw. He bets 1/3 pot and I feel like I can safely call that sizing because he is Cbetting 100% on this flop. Pot is now 2,640 and I have 3,773 behind. My plan has a lot to do with what he does on the turn and what card comes. I don't feel like I can continue to another bet if my hand doesn't improve. If another club comes, especially a J or queen of clubs I can look to check raise. A king comes I can check call. I think I check call if any club comes, but maybe sometimes I check raise. If a ten comes I will check call. And the real mystery for me is, what will I do if a J or Q non-club comes.
Turn comes Qh. I check. Villain bets 1,222 into a 2,640 pot. I feel like this bet is very strong. There are a lot of 2pair combos and pair/straight draw combos in my range. At this point, I don't feel like I can count on a K or a T as outs, I feel like I can only win the hand if a J comes, and some of the time I will be chopping the pot, so I fold.
Would anyone play this hand differently? Was my reasoning and plan on the flop sound? Does anyone fold preflop to the 3bet?
