villain is a reg that i dont have history but he was playing standardly/good on this ft.
this hand is the 2nd hand from HU so i dont know if i have an edge or not HU.
when villain reshoves 30bbs, im pretty sure his range is exclusively 22-55 and maybe 66. should we gamble?

if you are shure that he is only having these hands it should be a pretty easy call
im a little afraid of seing aq sometimes but he might also have lower aces then so its a call for me all in all
doubt any decent regular is even considering just jamming AQ for 30bbs hu. such a waste of a great hand. as i said , i had a pretty good grasp for how villain was playing so i think i was very accurate on that range. why is it a easy call if im never ahead?
He should be shoving much wider here, unless you are very tight. Against a good reg I wouldn't even consider to fold A7s either.
i wasnt playing tight , but for 30bbs , people learned to shove small PPs and rightly so cause its really profitable against a wide button range.
anyways , im definitely not folding here ( need 45% and A9s vs 44 has 48% equity) but should i consider some other factors ?
How do you know he has 22 ~ 55 exclusively? It's the second hand of the HU, you have no history on him, I think it's pretty meh to suggest he has a fixed reshove range hu here.
I agree that its more likely that his range is on the weaker side here, and he probably 3bets the better part of his valuerange, but we should also understand that most MTT players suck really bad at HU pokers, thus they might jam in hands we just wouldn't have in our own shoving range.
i assumed his range was 22-55 because i really had a feeling for what he was doing from previous hands not only at the ft. So i know he would just flat Axo,AXs, flat or 3bet call KQ, flat most broadways , and 3bet/call AT+ 77+ and 3bet fold garbage .
i could be wrong here ofc but i think even not playing hu with someone , you can easily understand how he approaches the game in an overall way.
