Hi,
the line maybe would be Raise Flop and Fold Turn.
I think which 85o is not a good combo by preflop defense with this stack.
I like the raise OTT, as he could be betting a lot of draws on this board, which u wanna be charging or protecting yourself against. He can have all overpairs, 87, 74s, 84s and sets, but he also has OESDs, FDs and gutshots, also some random bluffs. taking in consideration all the draws u get value from its a good shove, but I woudnt mind a call/fold river either as I dont expect him to bluff river oftenly. If I felt like I had an edge on the tournment I would probably just call and preserve my stack, otherwise I would likely go all in as you did
Fold PF.
Nothing else.
It doenst make any sence to defend your BB with trash like 85o against the CL when your stack is just about 20bb.
I'm with newearthling, Fold PF all day.

we have position and are getting 4.5:1. Also it is spelled 'sense'.
Aha, and what is your problem?
Sorry for that big spelling mistake.
BTW a sentence usually starts with a big letter and not with a small one.
And there should be no space before your ? in the first line.
So much for the unnecessary blabbing - probably we can leave that behind.
For the spot:
If you wanna play that hand - well go for it.
I would be glad meeting you there.
I would not recommend that to a beginner / player who is insecure about the spot.
As - even with 20bb's - there will be a ton of better situations to bring your chips in I for myself would not defend my BB with that (unless I got a pretty strong read on Villian that he will give up easy almost ever POF).
Your not gonna hit a lot with that hand and have to fold almost ever postflop if the CL continues.
Even if you hit, you cannont be sure to be ahead and the hand will be hard to play - and as well against the CL who always tends to give you a hard time when your short stacked and especially if he has shown strength in the hand already.
And for the 33% equity against a 40% range:
That is for an PF all in, which would definatly be the better option than calling the raise, but still not worth it without a good read and the right table image for yourself.
So yeah, easy fold as there will be be a lot easier spots.
Thanks guys for all your inputs
fold preflop, but played i would raise flop like 3x his bet. if he call or raise its fold for me until the end. GL
