This is on PS.FR and keep in mind it's a full KO tournament. Once shortie raises there could be hunt for his bounty. CO is a fish (50/19 after 16 hands), so is BU (56/19 after 28 hands). When he makes such a tiny 3b squeeze I'm not sure how to continue, shoving seems excessive for 80xbb, 3b/f seems spewy and flatting puts me in awkward situations since original raiser will most likely shove and BU would the iso me from the pot. Do I just fold here?

I'm struggling with spots like this too.....good players tell me that 99 is good enough to go with but honestly with all of this action sometimes I call and sometimes I fold. Sometimes I'm happy I folded and sometimes I'm sad when a 9 hits the board and I folded or everyone else has strong A's and no one hits because they all have each others cards and the 9s would have been good.
10s or Js are strong enough I think or 9s if it was later and the stacks were shorter. I think it's good you are looking ahead and anticipating what could happen. No point flatting 10% of your stack if you're not going to call the shove
99 is on the top 5% of hands you nit guys!!! but this spot is so clear a trap that I fold 99s without thinking twice. the guy squeezes IP 2x ? if he just wants the bounty he would call and see a flop
lololol u tell us Raphael! But honestly that's why I post so I can be told what is what. There is always the danger that someone listens to me though
heh, it was indeed a trap, but this looks so retarded that I often fall for it. thanks guys.
good KO tournament that worth seeing the FT before going to bed :D

yday I was playing a live tournament and being pretty nitty since the best hand I had in 4 hours was A9o from UTG in a 10-handed table. HJ opens 800 in 150/300, CO folds, I 3b from BN A3cc 2150, sb and bb overcalls, HJ makes it 3600. What great odds to A3s, right ? No, just muck. 4 bettor had KK and overcall TT on 752rTA. The river saved him some $.
99s can be good a lot of the time but this one I am sure that the guy is not 3 betting there for fun. Gl boys (:
How do you know that Raphael? Because the sizing was small or because it was over a raise and a call?
woman feelings, I am a girl.
sb was ok and HJ was the only aggressive guy beside me (2 triple barrel bluffs that did not work I was a bit down and tried to keep my stack to play day 2). SB cold calling range should be very strong there, 99-JJ and BB was kinda weak and a station so, I did not have enough implied odds on A high flops with my kicker and 4 way would be hard to extract maximum value from my flush if I hit, maybe 3 way was best. HJ sizings rings the alarm bell on this situation, he is not dumb as he seem to be even tough I never saw his face before. When he makes almost a click 4b on a 3 way pot that he can close the action with any suited cards is pretty hard to him to have a bluff or barely a hand that plays poorly 3 or 4 way. So, range vs range is a fold even tough I am getting amazing odds and SB/BB would probably call. He did not see my ugly hands, 3barrel bvb limp pot on TT2xx and 3barrel J3cc on AxxcKcx. I was fine folding. His arguing for 4betting was to play against less opponents but a fool player would never fold on this spot having position and nut flush draw preflop :D
Stars ko FT- what a great vid! Mr. Andreeews played amazing - hand 356 - who lays down top 2 HU? Stars RNG never fails to entertain lol
