FT Smallest Stack (20bb) - Mistake Shoving A4s over limp?
UTG is limp folding a lot of hands and I only have BB to get through who has 42% VP. I think I can complete or raise, but since I am such a small stack compared to rest I felt I could shove ahead of their ranges and either get folds and collect dead money or get called and have good ev. Not sure if this is a mistake in retrospect and I should wait for a better spot in a FT with weak players.

IMO, it's pretty standard, I would think just the same, but unfortunaly you just found a better ace. If you had about 40 BBs, it would be different
i think its pretty standard aswell. you just got unlucky that the bb had a better hand. when the button has folded and you are effectivly 3 handed a4o should be the best hand. the thing i think you should think about in this spot is the co's limpin range tho. have you seen this player limp before. if yes its pretty obvious he most likely doesnt have a strong hand that can call 20 bbs.
