very, very close but it is a fold given ICM. for TT be a profitable reshove, he needs be opening linearly 35%
yeah, i had a look at the icm and that's what i found.
tbh it seems that JJ and AK are close (using an 18% open which i kind of plucked out of nowhere). Not too sure how wide villain should be opening. He is covered by 3/6 stacks but 2 of those would not be at all eager to get it in with him.
I guess this goes to show how much leverage a min open has on a final table with these kinds of stack sizes. I have to fold >96% of the time!!!
(Flatting/small3betting leaves me vulnerable to worse spots, surely(?)...while sacrificing some of my stack and not giving me any/maximum FE)
yeah, that sucks. in general I would just jam this TT but the ICM factor is very very huge. Flatting sucks this shallow, 1/3 of the time you have just an underpair and needs to be guessing a lot. Flatting and getting jammed by other player is good but I don't think people should shove this often against a tight calling range.
Depends on stats: Villain's VPIP/PFR/CB/TCB/Fto3B/4B & Call Open/Squeeze of players to act. I'd never jam this in a $3 unless villain is one of the idiots who calls w J9o. Almost always flat (flicking in 2.2bbs/folding won't change your $EV much - you could use an ICM calculator to see how much), sometimes 3B induce (either a 4B or squeeze jam) and sometimes fold if he's ridic nitty - even that's unlikely because we win those post if he misses w AK - maybe fold if he's one of those nits that open tight and CB big 100%.
so you've worked out the evs of all these options?
Yes.
