Facing River shove close to the bubble $55 FO
I've been playing a little on the tighter side, standard taggish, haven't had many cards or stealing opportunities.
Blinds are 350/700/100
Folds to me in the cutoff, and I open A8dd. I have 23800
Folds to BB who calls. I only have 19 hands on him, but he is at 42/28/25% 3 bet. He has 24000. His last bb he flatted with 10 9 off.
BB flats, flop comes As8hJs.
He checks, I bet 2025, he calls.
Turn 4c.
He checks, I bet 4050, he calls.
River 9s.
He shoves just over pot sized bet and has me covered.
Seems like the perfect bluff card, especially on the bubble, and I have a hard time seeing this player getting to a flush so passively if he held two spades preflop. On the 3 cbets he has faced, he called once, raised once, and folded once. I think there is zero chance he has a better two pair, and the only set I could see him maybe having here is 4s, but I think this guy would 3 bet any pair pre. I can't imagine he chased a gutshot at this stage in the tournament.
I used my whole timebacnk (which I almost never do) making the decision here.
What would you all do?
