EPT Monte Carlo Freddy Deeb Vs. Lechuckpoker
Kurganov, who is Lechuckpoker online, has been ripping up the live circuit this past year. Everyone knows the name Freddy Deeb.
Here is the hand that came up.
Blinds 12/2400
Kurganov: 67k (27BB)
Deeb: 270k (112 BB)
Kurganov opens to 45k pre from cutoff. (that is not a typo)
Deeb flats bb.
Deeb bets 20k dark
Kurganov obv commits himself to the pot preflop.
Flop As6s10c.
Kurganov tank folds and claims he folded 3s.
Pertinent info: Blinds are going up in 3 minutes, to what I assume is 1500/3k
Deeb is the king of defending his.
The combo of these two things, is the only reason I can see kurganov making this play preflop.
if deeb jams pre, kurganov will obv have to call.
If Kurganov really had 3s, which I assume he did.....is this an auto fold on the flop?
Do we ever not look at the flop, and just get it in on all flops b/c we have commited ourselves?
Or do we sigh/fold like Kurganov did here, and try to run up our 9ish BBs.
Lastly, knowing Deeb will be flatting super wide, are we(should we) ever justbe folding 3's pre and looking for better spots?
