This was a hand which happened in the Sunday Millions few days back. I (Eugene_Tung) 3-bet shoved with 9-9 from the SB against the short stack (playing 13/9 over 24 hands) open in MP when he had merely a starting stack of 43.4k after he opened for 2.4x, basically committing himself to any shove. I felt my hand was too strong to fold in this spot, and I thought I was gonna be up against a race, not against a bigger overpair (though it's also possible but less likely). Was it a spot I coulda gotten away from? Was there any merit in folding the 9-9 in the SB in this situation? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.
