BvB 3 handed line check

Blinds: t100/t200 (3 Players) BB: 4,157
BN: 2,345
SB: 6,998 (Hero)
Preflop (300) Hero is SB with Q J
BN folds, Hero calls 100, BB raises to 600, Hero calls 400
Flop (1,275) J 9 7
Hero checks, BB bets 599, Hero raises to 6,373 and is all in, BB calls 2,933 and is all in
Turn (11,180) J 9 7 K
River (11,180) J 9 7 K J
Final Pot BB wins and shows three of a kind, Jacks.
SB lost and shows three of a kind, Jacks.
BB wins 8,339

3,5$ regular 9max SnG. BB was a reg not that much experience with him.
So I complete the SB thinking I am putting him in an awkward position with his stack size while I never have to raise fold this hand which would probably be pretty bad. Flop I go for the x/shove cause I think on this board I am getting called by a lot of draws or worse made hands. Anything that I should have done differently?
