Bubble Factor
I have recently downloaded Pushbot and its a fantastic piece of software for working out optimal shove and resteals, but I am slightly confused by the bubble factor tab on the ICM calculations. Does anyone know how I would be able to work this out for different spots?

Hey!
since its a 3 year old post, i assume you would have already got it answered but just for the sake of completeness of this post:
Bubble factor for player A against player B basically is the cost/profit ratio of A playing for stacks against B.
If A plays for stacks against B,
Cost: EV lost in case player A loses
Profit: EV gained in case player A wins
Now once u have bubble factors, you can use it as:
Suppose for a particular call, pot odds wise player A is getting 2:1
But, the bubble factor for player A against player B is x,
then instead of the required 1/3 or 33% equity,
the odds now are (2/x):1 and you now need 1/((2/x)+1) equity!
For x = 2, you need 50% equity
x = 1.5, 42.6% and so on..
