Brazilian Series of Poker - Last hand of the day.

I was sitting around 66k, blinds 500/100; 100. This dude who was playing fairly loose opens UTG to 2.2k and UTG+1 who is a reg, 3bets 6k, Im sitting in MP and look at JJ... I felt that since he was a reg he was taking advantage of the situation being the last hand and decided show a lot of strenght by 3beting utg.. At the time I ended up thinking I had the best hand but thought flatting was a poor play and decided to click back made 10k, he repopped to 20k i folded he showed aces. I know I basicallt turned my hand into a bluff, I was happy taking down a pot worh 1/6k of my stack at the moment. Dnt know if its the right play tho. Would appreciate any insights
