hello there
this one got me really confused. villain is a decent player defending his BB a lot mostly by check raising.
when he x/c the flop i did put him more on a 6x than a draw. I supposed that he would x/r fldr and gutshots in a decent frequency.
Turn card could complete a str8 or give some possible 2pair combinations. villain doesnt lead so given that he hasnt x/r the turn in previous spots that much and also that i should be expected to check back a lot of the time i assume he hasnt neither a made str8 or a 2P. Maybe at that point i sould bet again with my K but i didnt want to give him a spot to x/r so i check back maybe to show some weakness, hide my TP and induce some blufs on the river.
River pairs the board and villain leads almost PSB. Ingame i narrowed his range to 6x (i gusess some risk aversion mental leak hides in there) and foldes the hand.
as i watch the hand again it seems fine OTF and OTT and also looks more like a blufcatch on the river. Havent seen him leading the river that way so i couldn be sure if he is giving me bad hero calling pot odds or if he is balancing his size for value.
i guess my perceived range has some Kx who checked back OTT given how connected the board gets. some PP, and A high.
so, i am looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the hand
thnx
