AKQ monochrome flop ($130 MTT) - should I just fold 2 pairs?
Blinds 250/500. Hero with 42 bb (21k), villain with about 60 bb (30 k).
Villain (in mp) opens for 1300, hero calls with AdQc in cutoff, everybody else folds - 4000 in the pot.
Flop AKQ all spades. Villain donks 4000, a pot-sized bet. If I call 4000, I have 15700 left behind, and getting close to pot-committed.
What to do here? His bet looks like an attempt to protect a vulnerable hand. But his vulnerable hands are ahead of my AQ , I am only beating KQ, AJ and AT perhaps.
Is just folding AQ correct here? Btw, PokerSnowie recommends folding , but it occasionally gives strange advice on monochrome boards like this one.
