AK - HIT WITH DANGEROUS BOARD
I'm unsure how to play this hand on this board. HJ having KJ did cross my mind but i thought i was pretty safe on the turn after he checked back. When he flat called my bet on the turn i was almost certain i was holding the best hand but i still continued with caution. Am i getting away from a raise on the river? What do i do if he raised the turn? Thank in advance. I'm a novice so all advise is appreciated.

King jack becomes less likely because we have a blocker, but i think you played the hand fine, though i would probably cbet flop and go on from there on out.
Thanks again cairy!
How did villain not raise the turn here? Oh my, you lost the min. Thank him and move on :)
Also note that this guy is calling this hand with these stack depths ect. Also fish label him at the same time :) all will be useful next time when you have AK/AQ on a low board and you can bet for value vs him or check/call to induce bluffs... which I see in other posts you never know what to do against these randoms. And on that see vids on how the pros handle these situations, that will help you alot. Don't get too attached to ANY hand.
Thank you, very helpful! :)
Note this hand and play according next time.
Against a random i like checking this flop and calling down some run outs and generally keeping the pot small. You can get one bet from a smaller pair taking a stab and some ~0% equity hands. Betting and getting raised (which is likely on this board) is very messy so flop i like.
Once we know his range here (too loose) then we can start betting the flop and looking to bet > bet > decide (either tripling for value or looking to bluff catch some brick rivers).
