UTG is now AI but he didn't have many chips left
I wonder what UTG2 could have to call such a large bet - I don't think he has a 2 in his hand but possibly an 8 I guess, some kind of mid pair or a draw. I don't think he would overlimp 88. He might overlimp a suited A and call a raise.

with less than 1/3 psb behind I think you need to jam turn even if it isn't the greatest on the deck
Happy shoving preflop with 21BB, even more at those stakes where people use to call lighter. I don't mind if some of the limpers seems my overbet as a strong hand, because more often than not a raise after two limpers with such stacks seems stronger.
As played jam Turn
I did think about jamming pf for sure but sometimes everyone will just snap fold even if they are suspicious. That would be a waste of KK. Turns out UTG2 had 88 and had just overlimped so the results would have been the same. Would he have called off a pf shove? Maybe.
Now that I look at it I would have picked up 3000 chips if everyone folded pf which would have been pretty good.
with 3 limpers you can make a little bigger on this stakes or even jam given that people are gambling so frequently.
but it happens
Agree... With 3 limpers I would raise a bit more.. something between 900-1000, to take 1 or 2 out. But I think UTG2 would rarely fold this hand even facing a shove, considering it's a .99 MTT.
As an exploitative play I am ok with his raise size. I'm sure ppl are not reading to much into it, it's $1r after all.
Would bet ~1k OTF, no need to go this big, and fistpump jam turn, he calls any pair that called flop, putting you on high cards with a diamond. This is how these micros go mostly.
