May be obvious to some.
Whats the best play here?
Raise/fold to any but to the 29K stack?
Openshove?
icmizer says its a +0.02% push. But surely thats not enough.

Why isnt that enough?
speaking of opening i think you have a borderline hand to open UTG with.
I guess in theory you´re looking at some percentage to open.
in practice i would take a look at the other players and decide from there.
edit: just saw that you´re 7 handed. so i guess i just open normal.
My point about that 0.02% isn't enough is that we can push our edge, as said by just opening.
I prefer to fold, is pretty sick to open 88- with less than 20bb's form EP and imo it's not profitable to raise/fold pairs, leave that to hands that have blockers so you'll be less exploitable later on, i think if we had like 15~16bb tops i'd be more intend to shove.
I don't think it should be a fold... jam with less than 15BB, raise/fold in this case... as painful as it is to fold then to a 3bet...
raise/fold medium PP with less than 20bb is not good in these cases, shove or fold it'll be better, i mean, if you gonna fold to a 3bet why open?
It's always coming 7
^^^ exactly, it’s always coming 7 so I would min raise to induce a shove and snap off and thank them for the double up afterwards
Need info on table dynamics and stage of tournament. Min raise, fold to anyone but short stack seems like a good starting point though.
With less than 15BB it'd be a jam. In this case I would raise/fold.
Given that the table is playing only 7-handed, I'm slightly in favor of a shove.
Depending on the table dynamics and the other players being tight or at least not out of line, open raising can be fine too. Although shoving will be marginally +EV as OP has stated, opening may have a higher EV and less variance depending on the table.
Dependant on table dynamics, if there are a lot of high vpip players at the table I like folding. If it's a nitty or average table probably open fold to everyone but short stack
I shove this. I think most players call too tight against you, so this is a profitable shove. It's a hand that sucks to play post-flop at these stacks, so I don't; think opening is better.
