I was seriously contemplating just shipping here and it would be my standard line if villain was in later position or if had been opening very light. Ultimately that's why I decided against getting it in. But I felt that this is still good enough to defend.

I usually go for a check raise here. I didn't have any Cbet stats on villain. Since we were semi deep in the tournament I went for the lower variance route and called, planning to bluff most rivers if it goes check check on the turn and I don't improve on the turn or river.

After the turn gets checked through I follow through with my plan of bluffing the river. I think the only bluffs in my range are flush draws (which is what I have obv). But even those I raise on the flop a lot. Most the time my river bet should be thin value with Kx (minus AK, which I would have 3bet pre) or w medium pocket pairs.
