HJ: 239122
CO: 181727
BN: 181983
SB: 615769
BB: 169395 (Hero)
UTG: 147214
Blinds 5000/10000/1250 ante About 14 players left, we're in 11th spot
Preflop (15000) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt A Q
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN raises to 20000, SB folds, Hero raises to 158145, BN calls 148145
Button has been fairly quiet 18/14/1/36 but even rocks raise the button light
Flop (341290) 2 4 Q (2 Players)
Turn (341290) 8 (2 Players)
River (341290) 3 (2 Players)
Final Pot
BN has 8 8 Hero has A Q BN wins 348790

It occurred to me looking at this hand that if I had just 3 bet instead of shoving that BN would probably have just called with her 88. When the flop came and I had TPTK I could have shoved then and perhaps gotten a fold. Is it always correct to just 3 bet shove GII?
