I still have over 20 BB - just fold and wait for a better spot? SB could just be responding light to a BT raise

Yes, this was late and my focus was slipping.....looks very nutted for BT to min raise from his small stack...obviously he's not raise folding. Do you think it would have been better for him to open shove? He did end up having KK. 3 spades came on the flop though

Yeah, I agree. It wasn't really even that deep in the tournament but I had lost a couple of big hands and had gotten short in chips. Usually I think if I was on the BT with 12BB though I would just shove if I was going to play a hand unless I had a monster

I think this is a pretty standard and profitable fold long term after the SB gets involved, plus  BTN sizing is a big tell here (not for all players I may add) most of the time if btn is looking to get a raise thru he will elect to move all in in this particular spot. Wouldn't beat yourself up too much when the flop comes 3s, although i know it can be frustrating!
